We believe that the Creator of the universe has supplied the Earth with everything necessary for good health. Through His Word, He has given mankind the instructions to maintain a healthy and balanced life in the only record of His word, the Bible. We, unlike most followers of the God of the Bible, believe that the instructions for health and wellness given in His law are the perfect standard for health and happiness.  This perfect law contains instructions for healthy eating habits, hygiene, mental and emotional well being, as well as a myriad of other spiritual and relational truths. It is the understanding that the one who created us knows us best and it is this general premise that is behind the name Barakel Foods, meaning “foods that God has blessed”.  The products and foods that we distribute are all intended to help our customers to achieve and maintain Biblical eating habits.

More about what we believe why the name Barakel Foods

Our Business practices and principles are all rooted in our faith in the God of the Bible. We believe that the Bible contains the true record of History from creation to the time of Jesus, some 4000 years later.  We have placed our complete trust in the words that are recorded in this book and plan on spending the rest of our lives seeking to follow the instructions for living as recorded in its pages.  We have come to the understanding that every word contained in this most remarkable book are for the follower of Jesus to understand and live by.

We see these writings as the foundation for living a godly life as Paul told Timothy in Chapter 3 of his second letter: 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

With this in mind, we base our life and business on the principles set forth in the entirety of this book.  We will sell only food products that are legitimate food as described in this book.  What God does not call food we do not call food and what God calls food we call food.  We also believe that there are many principles of integrity and honesty that influence the choice of product that we sell in our kitchen section.  It is our aim to please our Creator/Father in all that we do.

If you would like to know more about us please read on.  The following is an ongoing section concerning our views of the Bible and its application to us as believers.  Because the Word of God is the bread of life, we desire to also provide our customers with His food.  This being His Word.

We see the arrangement of the 66 books as divided into five parts the First and most important to understand include the first five books as recorded by Moses from the voice of the Creator YHWH, called the Law (Torah).  These 5 books are the foundation and plumb line of life that all our interpretations and views of the rest of the Scriptures are to be measured by and upon which all other writers of this book base their words.  The Torah begins with the Book of Genesis (Beginnings) describing a literal six 24 hour day period of creation with a 7th day Sabbath established and made holy by the Creator as a day of rest.   The book continues with the record of the ancestry of mankind from the first two human beings up to the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. Included in its record of history is the fall of mankind through the disobedience of Gods word leading to the first judgment destruction of the world by the Creator through a world wide global flood.  The evidence of this incredible catastrophe still being clearly seen in the geologic record and historical record of every continent and ancient culture on the globe. The following four books being Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, which contain the history of the family of Israel and the record of Gods law being given to these descendants of Jacob/Israel through Moses.

The second part of the Bible is what is called the writings (nevuim), which include the books from Joshua through the Song of Solomon. These predominately being a record of the descendants of Israel as they live either in opposition to or in line with the instructions that they were given at Mt Sinai and recorded in the first five books.  This history reveals a majority of Israel choosing disobedience with only a remnant following the instructions of their Creator.

The third grouping of books of the Bible contains the writings of the Prophets (ketuvim) who were sent to call Gods people Israel back to following His commands for living, most of which ignores the words of these Godly messengers. Again, we see a record of a people refusing to follow the word of God, being more interested and active in pursuing the life that not only opposes the Creators way, but leads to death.

The collective of these three sections have been called be the acronym Tanak as they contain The Torah (law), Nevuim (writings) and the Ketuvim (prophets).

The forth section of the Scriptures contains the record of the coming of Messiah Yeshua/Jesus to the people of Israel.  This record includes four books called the Gospels and they contain the account of Jesus’ life and death written by 4 different authors.  Each of these accounts, though different in perspective of the authors reveals a detailed description of Yehshua as the promised redeemer spoken of throughout the first three sections of the Tanak.  This record reveals Yehshua/Jesus (the word of God made flesh) as the only perfect man according to the standard of YHWH’s laws.

The Fifth section of the book is the Epistles, which are a record of the disciples of Yeshua continuing the message given to them of repentance and a return to living in the manner that the Creator has set forth from creation. The various writers of these letters not only establish Yehshua/Jesus as the promised seed of all the books before them, but maintain the law as the standard of righteousness for His followers.  According to their testimony, Yehshua/Jesus not only lived, died and rose up as the promised redeemer, but ascended into the heavenly place where He ministers as high priest of our confession until He returns for the remnant of those who both confess faith in Him and live according to His example.

Each of the 66 books, written over a period of 2000 years contains the most extensive and accurate record of the dealings of the one true God of Creation with His chosen people.  Though continually attacked and criticized by the masses, its record remains perfectly flawless in both accuracy and application.
